Description of Services
Rocky Mountain Mental Health provides medication evaluation and management for children/adolescents & adults.
Given the wide variety of medication and treatment options available for mental health concerns, RMMH works with patients to determine an optimal evidence-based treatment approach.
Below are some of the mental health issues treated at RMMH, although this list is not exhaustive:
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Psychosis related disorders
On your first visit your provider will conduct a thorough diagnostic evaluation to determine what treatment options are recommended. Your provider will discuss with you the risks and benefits of each treatment option. Your provider may request you to complete additional questionnaires in order to facilitate diagnostic impressions.
After your first visit you should plan to follow up in one to two weeks to discuss your individual response to the medication. The art of prescribing psychiatric medication often involves evaluation of multiple treatment choices, as well as dosage adjustments to resolve symptoms. This treatment process takes time and requires regular evaluations by your provider.
RMMH is a fee for service practice. We are “out of network” for insurance companies which means we do not accept insurance. If you would like direct reimbursement from your insurance company, we will provide you with a detailed receipt after each session.
Payment is due at time of appointment. Payment type accepted: Major Credit Cards, Cash, & Check.
Prior to 1st appointment, new clients must complete patient intake forms and pay a $100 deposit for appointment. The $100 deposit will be credited to amount due following initial psychiatric evaluation. Failure to complete these items prior to 1st appointment will result in RMMH denial of service.
Rates: Initial diagnostic Adult/Adolescent intake assessment with medication evaluation, 60-90 minutes, $275. Children ages 12 years old and under intake assessment will consist of two 60 minute appointments, totaling $350. Medication follow-up appointments for all age ranges, 20-30 minutes, $150.
Consultation by telephone will not be charged to the client if the call is less than 15 minutes. If 15 minutes or greater, the client will be charged $100 per fifteen (15) minutes.
Telepsychiatry appointments available after Initial Assessment (1st Appointment).
A Superbill will be provided upon request. A Superbill is an itemized receipt for the services you have received and paid for. It includes the necessary information that your insurance company will need to reimburse you for your "out of network services." It is highly recommended that you contact your insurance company to find out how to submit a Superbill for reimbursement as procedures may differ between insurance companies.
Failure to keep scheduled appointment without notifying RMMH at least 48 hrs. prior to appointment will result in a 50% fee charged to patient for follow up visit, or in the case an initial psychiatric evaluation, the deposit shall be retained by RMMH. In emergent circumstances, please immediately contact office and if the circumstance is determined dire in nature, this fee will be waived. This fee cannot be waived more than once per year. Additionally, showing up late (more than 10 minutes) for an appointment may result in cancellation and a 50% fee charged for lost appointment.
